The local court in Cologne has today appointed Dr Michael Lichtenauer, an attorney based in Hamburg, to the Supervisory Board of DEUTZ AG with immediate effect. Lichtenauer (69) replaces Dr Giuseppe Vita, who stepped down from the Supervisory Board on 31 July this year.
Dr Lichtenauer's fields of expertise as an attorney are company law, property law, investment law and inheritance law. He sits on various supervisory boards and advisory boards of German and US companies.
The court has made Dr Lichtenauer's appointment time-limited until DEUTZ's next Annual General Meeting on 6 May 2010.
