DEUTZ AG, one of the world's leading independent manufacturers of engines, will be listed in Deutsche Börse's MDAX index with effect from 19 September this year. Deutsche Börse announced this decision in Frankfurt am Main late on Thursday evening after it had carried out one of its regular reviews of the index's composition.
"We are delighted by DEUTZ's membership of the MDAX. Our shareholders are certain to benefit from the fact that our shares will be easier to trade and that there will be greater awareness of them in general," stressed Dr Margarete Haase, the chief financial officer (CFO) of DEUTZ AG.
