The right choice of fuel type and fuel quality is important for the engine operation. Beside diesel fuel in accordance to e.g. EN 590 the engines can be operated with diesel fuel according other specifications or with Jet- and bio fuels.

Technical Circular TR 0199-99-3005 gives details of which engines can be operated safely with which fuels. Here you will also find the engines which are approved without reservations and with a full warranty for bio-fuels.
